Epinac is in the heart of rural France, surrounded by picturesque countryside and very close to the fabulous vineyards of Côtes de Beaune and Côtes de Nuits. The historic town of Autun is just 18km (10 miles) away. It has Roman walls and amphitheatre, numerous cafes, bars and restaurants, swimming pool and a traditional French market on Wednesday and Friday. In the other direction is Beaune, city of art and capital of Burgundy wines.
Nearby is the Parc du Morvan regional park, with miles of unspoilt forests, lakes and countryside. Activities include hiking, way-marked trails, cycling, boating, canoeing and fishing.
There are 7 golf courses in the Département of Saône et Loire, the nearest of which is at Autun.
Epinac is approximately 1½ hours drive from the ecumenical community of Taizé and its international youth meetings.
We also have a small micro-entreprise, La Boucherie Anglaise, specialising in hand made English style sausages, bacon and burgers. For more details click www.boucherieanglaise.com
